Inflation Rate in Tunisia Drops to 5.7% in February 2025

Tunisia’s inflation rate decreased in February 2025, dropping to 5.7% compared to 6% in January of the same year, according to data from the National Institute of Statistics.

The National Institute of Statistics attributed this decline to a slowdown in the price increase of key consumer groups, including food, clothing and footwear, as well as health services. Additionally, the housing and household energy group also saw a drop in inflation, with its rate falling to 3.9% in February 2025 from 4.1% in January.

According to the institute’s data, the “manufactured goods” and “agricultural products” groups were the largest contributors to overall inflation, each accounting for a 2% share in the general inflation index.
