X Expands Grok’s Capabilities for Easier User Interaction

New Interaction Mechanism with Grok
X (formerly Twitter) continues to enhance user experience with its AI-powered chatbot, Grok. Users can now interact with Grok directly by mentioning it in post comments and asking questions for instant explanations, according to a report by TechCrunch reviewed by Al Arabiya Business.

Previously, access to Grok was limited to a dedicated icon in X’s bottom navigation bar, as well as a button next to posts that allowed users to request AI-powered analysis of text and images using an image recognition feature introduced last year.

Growing AI Integration in Digital Platforms
Social media platforms are increasingly integrating artificial intelligence tools. Meta, for example, has embedded its AI assistant, Meta AI, into apps like Instagram, Facebook, WhatsApp, and Messenger. The company has also launched a dedicated website for Meta AI and is reportedly working on a standalone app.

Grok Expands Its Reach
Grok, developed by Elon Musk’s AI company xAI, was initially available only through X. However, since early this year, xAI has expanded access by launching a standalone app for iOS and Android, along with a dedicated website, increasing the chatbot’s accessibility.

SuperGrok Subscription with Additional Features
As part of its expansion strategy, xAI has introduced a new subscription plan, SuperGrok, which offers advanced features such as unlimited AI-generated images and early access to upcoming features.

With these enhancements, X continues to improve user interaction, as tech companies race to integrate AI more deeply into their digital services.
